Enterprise Architect - Azure Cloud

Responsibilities:
- Understand and address customer's IT and business requirements by designing and implementing tailored solutions.
- Utilize IaaS, PaaS, DevOps, and IaC to develop solutions for our organization and clients.
- Cultivate strong client relationships to promote continuous cloud adoption and maturity.
- Lead or contribute to technical design sessions and prepare necessary documentation.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for automated provisioning and management of Azure resources.
- Translate business needs into technological solutions.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to manage client expectations and communications.
- Lead successful projects with a focus on Customer Success and desired business outcomes.
- Mentor others in Azure architecture and IaC.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Engage with new technologies and products, often pioneering their design and implementation.
- Perform hands-on implementation work for our organization and clients.
Requirements:
- Design and implement advanced functions within Azure and other cloud platforms, with a focus on security, scalability, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including PaaS offerings.
- Expertise in designing and implementing networking solutions within Azure and Amazon VPC, including virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups.
- Experience with cloud-specific networking services.
- Plan, design, and implement LANs and WANs.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure resilience, security, and optimal performance of Azure infrastructure.
- Drive architecture discussions on cloud security, privacy, and compliance.
- Ensure best practices for securing cloud environments.
- Proficiency in IAM, firewalls, VPNs, and IPS.
- Understand DevOps practices and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in writing code (e.g., Python, Terraform, PowerShell) for automation.
- Application modernization via containerization, automatic scaling, and load balancing.
- Familiarity with Enterprise AI implementations.
- Holistic understanding of various enterprise infrastructure components.
- Engage specialists to complete deliverables while maintaining alignment with the overall Strategic Architecture and Design.
- Bridge technical knowledge with mature business discussions.
- Develop implementation plans based on business requirements and IT strategies.
- Analyze problems, propose creative solutions, and implement them efficiently.
- Strong project management alignment.
- Demonstrate proactive monitoring and risk mitigation.
- Prioritize customer needs and business outcomes.
- Support sales pursuits and client relationships.
- Align solutions with client's business goals.
- Deliver technical content aligned with business goals.

- Minimum 10 years of IT experience with hands-on experience relevant to the role.
- 3-5 years of experience with cloud-based technologies (Azure preferred, AWS, GCP) specializing in enterprise workloads.
- 5 years of experience in solution design and technical leadership on enterprise engagements.
