Lead AI Engineer

We are working with a FinTech start-up that is looking to hire a high level AI Engineer. This exciting opportunity will sit in their NYC office and will define their AI strategy. Read below to see if you are a great fit!

Responsibilities

Work with cross-functional teams to integrate new AI innovations and ensure smooth deployment.
Lead efforts to define the company's AI strategy and overall approach in collaboration with leadership.
Foster a culture of high standards within the team, ensuring the development process remains efficient and of top quality.
Stay on the cutting edge of AI by experimenting with emerging technologies and attending industry events.
Collaborate with Engineers and Product teams to refine and implement successful concepts into real-world applications.

Requirements:

Advanced degree in computer science or related program
7+ years of industry experience in AI/Machine Learning (candidates with a PhD may be considered with fewer years of experience).
Expertise in cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Solid experience with Python and modern libraries (e.g., FastAPI, Pydantic, Marshmallow).
Proficient in AI frameworks and ecosystems (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace).
Skilled in applying software development best practices, including version control, CI/CD, and automated testing.
Familiar with AI agent frameworks (such as LangGraph, CrewAI).
