The Role
A leading company is looking to recruit a Pre-Sales Engineer to join their expanding team. In this role, the Pre-Sales Engineer will play a key part in driving revenue growth by providing technical expertise and support throughout the pre-sales process. They will collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, demonstrate the value of the company's products, develop customer-centric solutions, and help secure new business opportunities. The role requires the candidate to either hold or be eligible to obtain top-secret security clearance and to be a US national.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and objectives.
Provide technical guidance and recommendations to help customers understand how the company's solutions can address their challenges.
Lead product demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of prospective clients, highlighting the features, functionality, and benefits of the products.
Design, develop, and execute proof-of-concept projects and demonstrations to validate the effectiveness of the solutions in real-world scenarios.
Assist with technical inquiries, product evaluations, and proposal development.
Work closely with the product and innovation teams, providing market feedback to help guide the development of the product roadmap.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Ability to identify and resolve technical challenges that may arise during the pre-sales process.
Willingness to travel as needed to support customer engagement and sales activities.
Experience in one or more of the following programming languages, or a desire to develop these skills:
JavaScript
C/C++
Python
Experience with distributed or federated systems, particularly simulation systems, is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including scoping, scheduling, and resource allocation.
