The Role
A leading company is looking to recruit a Pre-Sales Engineer to join their expanding team. In this role, the Pre-Sales Engineer will play a key part in driving revenue growth by providing technical expertise and support throughout the pre-sales process. They will collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, demonstrate the value of the company's products, develop customer-centric solutions, and help secure new business opportunities. The role requires the candidate to either hold or be eligible to obtain top-secret security clearance and to be a US national.

Key Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and objectives.

  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to help customers understand how the company's solutions can address their challenges.

  • Lead product demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of prospective clients, highlighting the features, functionality, and benefits of the products.

  • Design, develop, and execute proof-of-concept projects and demonstrations to validate the effectiveness of the solutions in real-world scenarios.

  • Assist with technical inquiries, product evaluations, and proposal development.

  • Work closely with the product and innovation teams, providing market feedback to help guide the development of the product roadmap.


Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise


  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.

  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Ability to identify and resolve technical challenges that may arise during the pre-sales process.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to support customer engagement and sales activities.

  • Experience in one or more of the following programming languages, or a desire to develop these skills:

  • JavaScript

  • C/C++

  • Python

  • Experience with distributed or federated systems, particularly simulation systems, is a plus.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including scoping, scheduling, and resource allocation.
