iO Associates are paired with a leading Investment firm searching for a Security Operations Engineer following successful growth in the organization. This firm combine innovation and engineering to drive long-term value.

Reporting to the Security Operations Lead, part of the CISO office, you'll be focussed on the design, engineering, and automation of internal security platforms, particularly around Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) tools.

You will bring deep technical knowledge of enterprise security technologies-especially within the Microsoft ecosystem-and a track record of building automation to streamline processes such as alert triage, incident response, and vulnerability management.

Key Responsibilities

Identification of and deployment of new detections or automations within SIEM/SOAR platform
Drive creation and implementation of SIEM content
Ensure better analytics via SIEM
Design and implementation of automation for alert enrichment, common detections closure, and response actions
Continuous SIEM/SOAR platform testing

Key Requirements:

Degree within Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
More than 2 years SIEM/SOAR Engineering Experience
3+ years Security experience
Possession of or ability to obtain professional certificaitons in Information Security or Risk Management (CISSP/CISM/CEH etc)
Technical understanding of Microsoft Sentinel, Log Analytics, Defender, and other MS Security tools
