As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. Your expertise in Azure, GitHub, and DevOps best practices will play a critical role in enabling seamless CI/CD pipelines, optimizing services, and driving automation across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Azure Infrastructure & Automation:

    • Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable solutions in Microsoft Azure.
    • Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of cloud resources.

  2. CI/CD Pipeline Management:

    • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to support agile development workflows.
    • Ensure fast, reliable builds and deployments that meet quality standards.

  3. Monitoring, Logging, and Incident Management:

    • Implement monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
    • Lead incident response efforts, postmortem reviews, and preventive actions.

  4. Collaboration & Mentorship:

    • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand infrastructure needs and implement solutions.
    • Mentor junior engineers in DevOps best practices and cloud technologies.

  5. Security and Compliance:

    • Implement robust security controls for infrastructure and applications.
    • Ensure adherence to compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.

  6. Optimization & Innovation:

    • Continuously evaluate cloud architecture for performance and cost optimization.
    • Explore new tools and technologies to enhance development workflows.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services, including compute, networking, and storage.
  • Proficiency in GitHub for version control and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions experience preferred).
  • Hands-on expertise in scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Deep understanding of system monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
