About the Role: Our client, a dynamic consulting firm, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Network Engineer to lead and expand their network engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned network professional with a passion for designing, implementing, and managing complex networks to take on a pivotal role in building and mentoring a team around them. You will play an integral part in driving network solutions across various client environments, helping shape the future of their network engineering capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage network solutions, including firewalls and switches, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
Act as a hands-on solutions architect, working closely with clients to understand their needs and tailor network solutions accordingly.
Mentor and develop junior network engineers, building a capable and cohesive team.
Collaborate with the Helpdesk Lead and CTO to align network projects with broader IT strategies.
Lead network projects from start to finish, managing resources and ensuring timely delivery.

Technical Requirements:

Expertise in: Cisco (certifications highly preferred), WatchGuard, HPE Aruba, with some exposure to Palo Alto and Fortinet.
Strong background in designing and architecting entire network infrastructures.
Proven experience leading network projects, ideally in a consulting or client-facing capacity.
Ability to travel locally (60-70 miles max) to client sites as required.
