Senior SEM Manager

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Execute SEM Strategy:

  • Manage and optimize SEM campaigns across major platforms including Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Design channel-specific strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions throughout the customer journey.
  • Ensure effective budget allocation across campaigns to maximize reach, ROI, and conversions.

Campaign Management and Optimization:

  • Utilize advanced audience targeting techniques to reach customers based on behaviors, demographics, and interests.
  • Optimize bidding strategies (e.g., manual, target CPA, ROAS) for cost efficiency and high ROI.
  • Manage keyword strategy and audience selection for maximum campaign impact and alignment with brand priorities.

Cross-Channel Collaboration:

  • Partner with creative teams to ensure ad messaging, visuals, and calls-to-action are compelling, on-brand, and optimized for each platform.
  • Collaborate with content and product teams to align SEM initiatives with overall marketing objectives.
  • Work with analytics and data teams to ensure accurate tracking and reporting, enabling informed marketing decisions.

A/B Testing and Creative Experimentation:

  • Develop and execute A/B and multivariate tests for ad creatives, landing pages, and calls-to-action to enhance engagement and conversion rates.
  • Utilize insights from tests to refine ad copy, visual elements, and campaign structures.
  • Share insights and learnings with the marketing team to continuously improve campaign performance.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly campaign performance, focusing on KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, CTR, and conversion rates.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement across channels, making strategic adjustments to optimize performance.

Budget Management:

  • Oversee SEM budget allocation, ensuring spend is optimized for maximum ROI.
  • Forecast monthly and quarterly campaign performance based on historical trends and adjust spending as necessary to meet targets.
  • Regularly evaluate budget efficiency by platform and campaign, reallocating funds as necessary to meet performance objectives.

Stay Updated on Industry Trends:

  • Keep current with the latest SEM trends, tools, and best practices to ensure competitive and up-to-date campaigns.
  • Attend relevant webinars, workshops, or conferences to stay informed on changes in the SEM and digital marketing landscapes.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in SEM or digital marketing, with proven expertise in managing large-scale campaigns across various platforms.
  • Platform Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and Instagram Business Manager; proficiency in audience segmentation, bidding strategies, keyword management, and ad placement.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret campaign performance metrics and make data-informed adjustments.
  • Optimization Skills: Demonstrated experience in A/B testing and campaign optimization, focusing on driving ROAS and lowering CPA.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of effective collaboration with creative, product, and content teams.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to see the big picture, strategically align SEM efforts with business goals, and make decisions to optimize performance across channels.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Google Ads Certification, Facebook Blueprint Certification, or other relevant SEM/digital marketing certifications.
