Oversee the development and optimization of databases to meet complex reporting needs.
Write and maintain Python scripts for sophisticated data transformation and automation.
Lead data migration projects from on-premises systems to the cloud.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and deliver data-driven solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues.
Monitor, optimize, and scale data workflows for efficiency.
Develop and enforce best practices for data engineering processes.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience with cloud-based data platforms, data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
Proven track record of managing large-scale data migration projects.
Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex querying and database management.
Strong experience with Python for advanced data manipulation and automation.
In-depth knowledge of cloud computing concepts and services.
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor team members.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Exceptional communication skills and experience working collaboratively.
Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks.
Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud-based data services.
Experience with semi-structured/NoSQL databases is a plus.
Cloud data certifications are a plus but not required.
