Senior Full-stack Software Engineer

FTE/Hybrid (Philly 1-2x week)

We are working with an exciting start-up on a Full-stack Software Engineering position. This person will be instrumental in advising the design of technical architecture, and the growth of their technical team. This position is hybrid in Center City Philadelphia.

Responsibilities

Deploy code enhancements that optimize infrastructure, streamline delivery processes, improve system monitoring, and refine internal tools across all layers of the tech stack.
Build and refine scalable message queue systems to ensure smooth and dependable processing of essential business operations.
Architect and deploy full-stack web solutions utilizing, leveraging established components and design patterns.
Engage in architectural review sessions, offering insightful technical guidance and actively contributing to key strategic discussions.
Foster growth within the team through detailed code reviews, comprehensive documentation, and providing guidance and mentorship.

Requirements:

5 years of working experience in Software Engineering.
Well versed in cloud architecture
Expertise in testing within a CI/CD pipeline, including unit, functional, and acceptance testing to ensure smooth integration and delivery.
Experience in web development, backend & task queueing, relational databases & caching, infrastructure & DevOps, and monitoring & observability (Python, Flask, FastAPI, Next.js, Datadog, Celery, , Redis, RabbitMQ, Terraform, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL).
Next.js, Python, and FastAPI expr is a must!
