The IT Operations team at a reputable Credit Union is looking for an Application Support Specialist to help support Core Banking Software Applications and Systems, including Symitar.

Responsibilities include:

Setting up and fine-tuning software systems
Applying patches and updates to software
Verifying that applications operate correctly
Support users by troubleshooting application tickets
Collaborating with vendors to identify and fix application problems
Overseeing schedules and confirming the successful completion of automated tasks
Participating in project teams to deploy new applications or system

Experience Needed:

2+ years of IT experience in either an Application Support, Systems Admin, or Help Desk role
Undertsanding of Credit Union application (Symitar preferred)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systems, and general client support knowledge.
Highly self-motived and directed.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
College degree, such as computer science or business preferred.
