About the Role


We are seeking a Certified Okta Customer Identity Cloud (CIC) / Auth0 Senior Technical Consultant for a contract role with a premier Okta partner. This role will focus on designing and implementing Okta CIC and Auth0 solutions for a leading financial services provider. The ideal candidate will bring proven technical expertise, Okta CIC certification, and a track record of delivering scalable, secure identity solutions in complex enterprise environments.


Key Responsibilities


Solution Design and Implementation:

  • Architect, configure, and deploy Okta CIC/Auth0 solutions for customer identity management across financial applications and services.
  • Implement advanced authentication and authorization flows, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and adaptive access policies.


Integration and Customization:

  • Integrate Okta/Auth0 with enterprise applications, APIs, and legacy systems to support seamless identity and access management.
  • Utilize Okta/Auth0 SDKs, APIs, and Rules for customized authentication flows and optimized user experiences.


Security and Compliance:

  • Design solutions that meet financial industry security standards and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, SOC 2, GDPR).
  • Implement secure token exchange, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and role-based access controls (RBAC).


Collaboration and Technical Leadership:

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders, including IT, security, and business teams, to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, expertise, and guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.


Support and Optimization:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during implementation and post go-live support.
  • Optimize Okta/Auth0 configurations for performance, scalability, and security.

Key Qualifications


Certifications:

  • Mandatory: Okta Customer Identity Cloud (CIC) Certification


Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing Okta CIC/Auth0 solutions.
  • Previous experience deploying Okta/Auth0 for large-scale financial services enterprises is highly preferred.


Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in implementing SSO, MFA, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and token-based authentication.
  • Proficiency with Okta/Auth0 APIs, SDKs, Rules, and Hooks for advanced customizations.
  • Hands-on programming experience with JavaScript, Node.js, or Python for identity workflows.
  • Experience integrating IAM solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).


Industry Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of security, privacy, and compliance requirements in the financial services industry (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).
