Company Overview: We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a distinguished consulting partner specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. Our client has a reputation for delivering comprehensive and innovative IAM solutions, particularly within the NetIQ/OpenText ecosystem.
Position Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced NetIQ Engineer for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have extensive consulting experience with both on-premises and cloud solutions within the NetIQ/OpenText environment. This is a fully remote opportunity, available exclusively to individuals located within the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement identity and access management solutions using NetIQ/OpenText products.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their IAM requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Integrate NetIQ/OpenText solutions with existing applications and infrastructure.
- Develop custom connectors, policies, and workflows to enhance IAM functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to NetIQ/OpenText implementations.
- Provide expert technical guidance and support to clients during the deployment and post-deployment phases.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in IAM and NetIQ/OpenText products.
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including requirement analysis and solution demonstrations.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience as a NetIQ Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proven consulting experience with both on-premises and cloud solutions within the NetIQ/OpenText environment.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management principles and best practices.
- Experience with SSO, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and other authentication/authorization protocols.
- Experience with API integrations and development.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related IAM integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications in NetIQ/OpenText products.
- Prior experience in a consulting environment.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
