Configuration Management Analyst

We are seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to play a key role in managing our client's Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and supporting IT service management initiatives.

**Location:** We are looking for candidates within 50 miles of our corporate offices in:
- Pleasanton, CA
- Plano, TX
- Phoenix, AZ
- Boise, ID

**What You'll Do:**

As a Configuration Management Analyst, you will:

- **Manage the CMDB:** Maintain the accuracy of configuration items (CIs), ensuring all software, hardware, and documentation are meticulously recorded.
- **Support Change Management:** Collaborate with change management teams to ensure changes are documented and reflected in the CMDB, assessing impacts on CIs.
- **Ensure Data Integrity:** Conduct regular audits, identify discrepancies, and implement data validation policies to maintain high data quality.
- **Improve Processes:** Document and refine configuration management procedures, continuously seeking opportunities for enhancement.
- **Collaborate Across Teams:** Engage with IT teams to align on data accuracy and provide training on CMDB best practices.
- **Analyze and Report:** Generate insightful reports on CI status, trends, and potential risks to support strategic decision-making.

**Key Skills We're Looking For:**

- Strong understanding of the ITIL framework, particularly in configuration and change management.
- Experience with CMDB tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC).
- Exceptional analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in managing large data sets and ensuring data integrity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Technical expertise with configuration management tools and IT systems.
