An exciting AI start up is looking to hire a Senior Product Manager to help manage and advance their current AI Platform. The firm wrapped up Series C funding last year and are now in their next stage of growth. They are revolutionizing decision-making with their cutting-edge AI platform.

The main responsibility of the role will be building a suite of operations applications, to run on the firm's AI Platform. They are focused on using AI and data engineering to solve the problems that live between traditional software players (EAM, ERP, Predictive Maintenance, Supply Chain, Field Service Management).

As a Senior or Lead Product Manager, you will:

  • Oversee project management for IRO Maintenance, ensuring thorough planning, coordination, and execution of sprints, tasks, and timelines. Work closely with engineering, data science, QA, customer success, and design teams to meet deadlines and achieve product objectives.
  • Guide technical decision-making by collaborating with engineers, architects, and data scientists. You should be adept in software architecture, managing priorities and risks, and making trade-offs to ensure smooth product development.
  • Take responsibility for key deliverables throughout the product life cycle, handling project management, research, and product planning independently.
  • Balance both tactical and strategic responsibilities: manage daily project tasks, coordinate with the platform team to ensure successful releases, and contribute to the broader strategic product road map.
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams, including business and customer teams, to deliver a unified product vision and execution plan.
  • Engage in user research and feedback collection to gather insights, using this data to inform the product road map and guide future feature development.

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance, existing clearance is not required but please only apply if you are able and willing to obtain a clearance.
  • Proven experience as an engineering manager or a highly technical product manager, with a strong grasp of software development principles and collaboration with engineers and data scientists.
  • Extensive project management experience with a track record of organizing, planning, and managing sprints and product life cycles in agile environments.
  • Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, analytics, and data engineering is beneficial, but foundational engineering skills and experience with code are essential. Experience managing products centered around AI/ML models is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ownership with a hands-on approach to testing, documenting feedback, planning, and making decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, including presenting demos and answering technical product questions.
